Ratify the ERA

ERA YES imageSince the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) was passed by Congress in 1972, 35 states have ratified it — just three states short of the 38 needed to make the ERA part of the U.S. Constitution. This year, Connecticut NOW will work with feminists and feminist organizations from across the United States, pushing to ensure that the ERA be ratified in at least three additional states and that “Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States of by any state on account of sex.”
